The MV Doolin-Rogers features an expansive classroom space where students can conduct experiments, learn about the onboard technology and maritime systems, and be introduced to career opportunities in the maritime industry.

NAVIGATE SUCCESS: WHERE BUSINESS MEETS THE SEA.

The MV Doolin-Rogers’ classroom also functions as a meeting space. This vessel is available for corporate charters and retreats with an enclosed main deck, covered upper deck, and meeting room facilities. Make meetings more fun with a view of the Tacoma waterfront and Puget Sound.

Sea Scouts

BETTERING THE COMMUNITY ON LAND AND AT SEA.

The Sea Scout Youth are the crews of the training vessels and make up the ranks of leadership and are mentored and trained by highly skilled and licensed skippers and adult volunteers. There are over a dozen industry expert adults that pay for and maintain their own Master’s license with the Coast Guard. Youth leave the programs and training vessels with sought after skills that lead to maritime jobs with the Ports of Tacoma and Seattle, positions with the Coast Guard, and other armed forces.
